GENERAL INFORMATION

We provide three different service trips each year in February, June/July and October - each  offering you different options. The clinics are provided in areas that do not have much medical or dental care available, or the people in the area cannot afford it. Most of the clinics are held at schools, with some being under the trees or in churches. Our trips  have a Christian flavor - however, regardless of your  beliefs we would love to have you join us.

While in Kenya you will be able to visit THE OLMALAIKA HOME which is a home for young Maasai girls between the ages of 5 -12 that are at high risk of genital mutilation and childhood marriage.

All three of the trips end with a weekend in the Maasai Mara National Reserve - the most famous and most visited Reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views, and extraordinary density of animals including "the Big Five" (lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros) and many varieties of plains game. An impressive feature is the annual migration of wildebeests, (over 1.5 million of them migrate), zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands from July through early October, tracked by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena, and circled by vultures as their journey unfolds. Their dramatic river crossings are often a reality for tourists visiting in early July-August.

Kenya is a warm and inviting country – the people are amazing! When you leave, your heart will always hold a part of Kenya within it. You will have made a difference  - your life will be changed

Service Trip Ambassador:

“Interested in experiencing a grand adventure in the heart of Africa? Let me tell you about the opportunities you’ll have to pull a tooth during clinic, ride a camel on the beach, jet ski on the Indian Ocean, and immerse yourself in Kenyan culture. I grew up in Kenya as a missionary kid and am now living in Chattanooga, Tennessee working full time. I have a passion for travel, animals, and making the world a better place. Text, email, or call me anytime if you still need convincing.”
