Healing Beyond Borders: The 2026 Global Village Ministries Team Is Complete

Global Village Ministries is honored to announce that our 2026 volunteer team is now complete. In March 2026, a full complement of dental and medical professionals will travel to the Narok area of Kenya to deliver compassionate care to the communities of the Maasai Mara region.

Since its inception, Global Village Ministries (GVM) has been committed to improving access to healthcare in underserved regions. The Maasai Mara continues to face extraordinary challenges, with an estimated ratio of one dentist for every 150,000 people. Many individuals in these rural areas must walk for hours—or even days—to receive the most basic care. Our mission is to bridge this gap by providing both treatment and education, while fostering long-term partnerships that strengthen local capacity for care.

The 2026 mission will integrate both medical and dental outreach. Our dental team will focus on infection control, extractions, restorative care, and preventive education to alleviate pain and restore oral health. The medical team will conduct wellness screenings, provide wound management, and deliver preventive and educational services that promote overall health and well-being. Together, these coordinated efforts address the critical relationship between oral and systemic health, offering a more complete and sustainable model of care.

Beyond the clinical services, each trip is defined by the human connections that develop along the way. Volunteers and community members share in moments of mutual respect, gratitude, and joy. The actual impact of this work is reflected not only in the relief of pain but also in the smiles, stories, and partnerships that endure long after our teams return home. We are deeply grateful to our Kenyan colleagues and local leaders whose collaboration and hospitality make this mission possible.
