Most donations are tax-deductible and no matter how large or small – they enable lives to be changed.
Transparency is a priority to Global Village Ministries so we want you to know that approximately 15% of all donations go for administrative needs at THE OLMALAIKA HOME and enable us to continue the projects we have in Kenya and provide opportunity for the service trips.
If you would like to give toward a specific project or need, mark it on your donation and we will do our best to make sure it goes for that.
Statements of contributions will be sent out annually.

OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
When you give to Global Village Ministries your donations cover the costs of the following projects ~ you may specify the project you would like it to go for.

THE OLMALAIKA HOME ~ provides a safe home for the young Maasai girls at risk of FGM and childhood marriage. The monthly budget for the home is $3000 which includes: 14 salaries, food, upkeep of the home and annex, and general supplies. The home/annex depends totally on donations. There are 34 girls currently who call OLMALAIKA home.
The Maasai Girls Education Fund ~ provides education for young Maasai girls at high risk of genital mutilation and childhood marriage. Sponsorship of a girl covers tuition, room and board if they are in secondary school, uniforms, books, school supplies, medical/dental care, transport, personal needs and clothing.
Nairobi Street Boys Fund~ provides funds for boarding school, uniforms, books, and general school supplies, plus transport and personal needs for 3 young boys in 7th & 9th grade.
Medicines/Dental supplies~ funds that come in that are specified for this are used to purchase much needed medicines, medical/dental equipment and supplies for the clinics that we provide in remote areas of Kenya.
